It&#039;s the passage that quotes &quot;My god, why have you forsaken me?&quot; and then says something about dividing or separating. Most translations read something like &quot;Then He separated from that place That Which was Divine...&quot; stressing that Jesus and God were separated. I did find one translation before that read &quot;for here he was divided and separated&quot;, which, for a person like me who believes that some early Christians saw their new faith in the tradition of the mysteries and were familiar with other sacrificial gods, would make the most sense.</description>
